I have recently replaced my mobo and pro. I have connected all hardware one piece at a time with no probs until it come to plugging in my ethernet cable for my internet access. It will not even get to the log on screen sometimes or it will just get past the sign on and then shuts down. The shut down is sometimes complete and sometimes the fans are still spining but no video displayed. All temps seem to be ok in the BIOS. Cable is ok as I have tested it on another system. Also as soon as I take the cabel out and reboot its seems just fine.

Have run several virus scans, only picked up tracking cookies, but there are alot so got rid but prob persists.

Any ideas would be helpfull as it is driving me nuts

    Thanks

Have you installed the drivers for the network card? If integrated on the motherboard they should have come in the motherboard box.

This is most likely driver issues since it actually affects booting.
