    Hi

This is a logfile from my mates computer, he cant post it himself as he is not able to log into this site, and all web pages have almost ground to a halt.
I have made him run spybot and adware se which cleaned up a bit. but he says it still unusable.

His PC is a mid-range Dell 1 year old (I can get more accurate specs if needed)

could someone have a look at this and suggest something please.

    Thank You

I was having problems myself and I was told to use

    http://www.pandasoftware.com/products/activescan.htm

I told him to use it and it came up with around 1150 then the pc crashed cause of something else he was doing.
He said just about all of them came up in his little brothers cookies, is this normal? are they what has slowed the pc down?

Run HijackThis and click Open the Misc Tools section
Click Open Uninstall Manager, Save list and save the log to your Desktop.
A list of programs will open in Notepad. Post the contents of the log here in your next reply.
