pc startup

    when i start my pc i get an error syaing invalid system disk but there is no disk in the drive, can anybody give an idea what could be wrong

    I wish I could help,but I got a `D` drive problem...no detection of my disks...I have drivers.If This problem you have is new..I suggest to my a copy of your win? on to a floppy..

    Your hard drive may have gone bad. Check in your systems bios to be sure that the hard drive is being detected correctly. If not reseat the cables to the hard drive and recheck the jumper (MS,SL) settings
    Also try using a system boot disk in your floppy drive and see if you can access your hard drive from there.

    If your Floppy is reading something is in there,,,,even tho nothing is. You may want to go into your Bios and set the startup device to boot from HDD-O first.
