Whenever i launch my pc i get my normal start-up but just befor it goes to the login screen, the screen goes black but stays on. I have only been having this problem after installing a new graphics card, but it was working when i turned it on for the first time and i installed the latest drivers.

I wouldn't worry about it, some graphics card do that, before Windows can start and use the proper installed driver.

I would use your new graphics card and ignore the black screen, after all, Windows is booting up to reach your desktop.

Do you mean the black screen does not go away? And it doesn't boot all the way to your desktop?
