hi my pc wont reboot or start after a shutdown unless i have it switched off for at least 3-4 hours then it starts normally. ive checked all the devices in device manager it says this device is working ok. ive updated the bios successfully and updated all the drivers. ive checked in windows health settings and it says no problems with drivers, storage capacity or software and apps. ive built the pc about 4 years ago and its been running ok but last few months this problem started occurring slowly getting worse. it used to start if the pc was switched off for half an hour but now its at least 3 hours. any help wud be greatly appreciated thx

Get rid of Avast Antivirus and stick with Windows 10's built-in Windows Defender Security Center.

What other security-related apps do you have installed in that computer?

Have you examined the inside of the case for a heavy build-up of dust and other debris?

    Please do the following:

Download and save Malwarebytes AdwCleaner to your desktop.
If you get a warning that this file is unsafe, ignore the warning.
Close all open windows first, then double-click the AdwCleaner.exe desktop icon to load its main window.
Click the "Scan Now" button to start the scanning process.
1 or 2 minutes or longer may pass before the scanning process is finished, so be patient.
If any threats are found, the list of threats will appear.
Make sure the entire list is selected, then click "Clean & Repair".
When the cleaning and repair process is finished, restart the computer.
Load the AdwCleaner.exe main window again, then click "Log Files".
Double-click the "Clean" file with the current date so it can load in Notepad.
Copy and save the entire contents of that file, then paste it here.
