pc temps

    hi

    i using asus p5k mobo/ quad 3ghz cpu

    now when i run fan speed i getting under temp readings for

    system
    cpu
    aux
    hdd
    core
    ambient


    first why am i not getting a temp reading for each seperate cpu core as i do on my dual core machine same mobo

    and also why is the aux temp reading 112 c !!! this is the same as my dual core

    what is this aux temp measuring

    "under temp readings" what do you mean?

    what software are you using to measure temps speed fan??

    you are looking for APPROX!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    mobo 40 deg
    HDDs 25
    gpu 40 to 60 on load
    cpu 36 to 50 on load each core @ 25
    gpu memory 40

    speed fan can produce a log file for you, post that back if you want

    this everest sw does not measure temp's

    i now need a good sw that will measure 4 core temp on windows 7
