Using Windows XP Media, I have accumulated 4 'things' that are supposed to make the computer faster and/or improve/fix the registry. Which is the best/ most reliable, most honest, to be avoided, etc. They are:
1. Earthlink PC FineTune
2. PC Booster7 by inKline Global (this pops up when I turn on)
3. Uniblue
4. RegWork (this seems aggressively invasive, I think it caused the Google competitor "ASK" to come up when I open a new IE tab}
Thanks for experienced suggestions.

The consensus here is that it's better to avoid registry cleaners/boosters.
My own experiences with them, in general, was negative.

Thanks for confirmation. Notes on RegWork reviews indicate that it resists uninstall. Does Unlock help here, or what is the best way to get around their wall?
