Im not really a computer savvy person I’m just looking for help. My PC was hooked up to my TV with HDMI chords and when I switched to a monitor it didn’t display. So I just thought I would go back to HDMI and now it won’t display on my TV either I just don’t know what to do

    Hi and welcome to TSG.

Depending on the hardware and operating system, you may need to reboot the computer for it to recognize a change in a display connected to it.

If the TV has multiple HDMI inputs, make sure it is set to use the one connected to the computer.

If you have a video controller expansion card plugged into the motherboard and the motherboard has a built-in video controller, you need to make sure you are connecting to the correct HDMI output on the computer.

HDMI cords can fail. Try another cord.

Beyond that, you would need to tell us the brands and exact model numbers of the TV, monitor, and computer, as well as the brand and model number of any video controller card, plugged into the motherboard.
