As the title indicates, I am having problems with my PCI card. I reinstalled win2000 on my desktop, and I cannot access the internet. I have tried downloading many different drivers, and have made no progress. I'm open to suggestions.

My Ethernet card works, and is detected, and has a driver
My PCI is detected, but does not work because it has no driver.

Because the PCI card does not work, the ethernet card will not function.

My desktop is a HP Pavilion 6745C.
    My OS is win2000

What PCI card are you talking about. There are a whole bunch of them. Is it a modem, a controller card, a usb interface card, sound card, TV Tuner card, etc...?

Did you install your Motherboard chipset drivers after your w2k install?

4 in 1 drivers help that issue.
My concern is, how did you download drivers if you can't access the internet.
Another PC maybe? I don't know.

Re-install or update your motherboard's CD (or download it).
Try the website to see if there are any updates
