Pci express question?

    Ok my first post on this forum ;), and ive been wanted to get a new graphics card for my computer, currently it has a geforce 7600 gs gpu but i want to put in a geforce 550ti which is pci express 2.0 x16 but im not sure my motherboard can handle it my motherboard is a K9N6PGM2-V2 (MS-7309) 2.0, if i cant would the only way be to upgrade the motherboard? thanks.

    The board has a version 1.0 PCI-Express x16 slot, but the card should be backward compatible and its rarely an issue. Have you made sure you have an adequate power supply got the Geforce 550ti? You need a minimum 400 watt quality PSU for the 550Ti, but higher would be better.
