PCI Simple communications controller

    I recently formatted my computer and lost the driver for it...I realize that that name is a generic name windows gives it, but how do I identify it ...Also the driver could already be on my HDD...

    I am running wondows 2000

    Any help is greatly appriciated (y)

    Its usually the internal modem.
    Look at what name/stickers are on it, or run Aida32 or Everest or a similar application to identify everything?
