Hy My friend have a Sony Computer.
    The model is Sony PCV-RS220.
and it have 3 PCI Slots.
What we are confused about is that, are those PCI slot 2.0 or 2.1???

PCI 2.1 was released in about 1995 so I would think you have 2.1.

FWIW there is NO info on the sony site pertaining to the above.

The slots looks identical, designed that way for compatibility. Since PCI 2.1 was introduced in 1995 I would sure bet that a Pentium 4 based system would indeed support at least PCI 2.1, and in this case it should actually be PCI 2.2 since that is what the Intel i84/ICH2 chipset found in the system supports.

Sony support site for your model: http://esupport.sony.com/US/perl/model-home.pl?mdl=PCVRS220&LOC=3

He probably can, generally its not the PCI slot that prohibits an upgrade but how the BIOS handles which card is the main display card and if the onboard video can be turned off.

I think its F2 on a Sony. Check/watch the screens when the computer is first booting up.

An option may not exist, but if it does then you should change it. Anyway look for Primary VGA or Shared Memory and change it to PCI and/or reduce the shared memory size to the lowest setting or disabled.
