I have old sony vaio laptop model vpceb32en.
I want to install nvme ssd in it. But it only have pcie 1.0 port. Which offers 250MB/s i guess.
Now if it support nvme ssd then, I think i cannot use full performance of ssd as its only limits me upto 250MB/s read and write speed?...is it so?
If yes then 'do i use sata ssd or m.2 that will serve my purpose.

That is not for NvME. Your only solution for a faster drive is SSD.
