Does anyone know of a PDF viewer where you can do a content search by page number?

Thanks

Hi, Adobe Acrobat does that, after it finishes loading completely....down at bottom, you can see the total of number pages, and there is a drag bar to go to any page. Perhaps you might need a newer version of AR? It's free.
Read about it here please, before you install or upgrade!

Um, there are some "rules" you should follow when upgrading versions of Acrobat, read the FAQs, please if you decide to upgrade. I use v. 5 and 4.0 (but not on the same machine) with no problems, though for some long docs and/or manuals, they can take several minutes to fully load, then all the features are functional. You can scroll to pages, print selected pages, etc....and probably, save just what you want, though not sure about that, whether it allows cut/paste or not. I have put some on floppies, so it must allow it, not (let's make that "now"...)that I recall. Hope this helps you.

Paul Rosso-
What I meant, was to work with the operating system. There are some requirements for the newer OSes and version of Acrobat you use...the poster did not include any specs....and there are some problems running more than one version, it seems...step by step process to install newer versions.
No offense meant, none taken- have a great day.

Thanks.

Download the latest Acrobat reader, and make sure you pick the option for searching, you can download a smaller version that doesn't include the full search capability.
