    Hello Group,

What is the technique for preserving hyperlinks installed in an EXCEL chart when converting from EXCEL to PDF (Acrobat 6.0)? The links disappear in the PDF after conversion.

I can install the links in the pdf document (curiously, the links work on PC, but not Mac), but every time I have to update the original EXCEL chart and convert it to PDF, I have to laboriously re-install all the links in the pdf document.

In Acrobat 6.0 there is a Links option in the toolbar under Advanced. Selecting that option (as a hoped-for setting) before opening the EXCEL document to be converted does not work, as the "Create from URLs in Document" is grayed out. That option is active after converting the EXCEL document to pdf, but when selected always results in zero URLs installed.

Finally, from Acrobat 6, Edit > Preferences > Convert to PDF > Microsoft Office > Add bookmarks and links to Adobe PDF file ... is on (box checked).

    Any way around this problem?

    Thanks for looking in.
