    I am trying to work with a PDF file ............... I downloaded it to my desktop and I want to write on it ........... is there a way I can do that ?? that is the only format this file is in and I am not sure what to do

    not to sure what you mean ,try the new adobe reader 8 is much improved

    I want to be able to type on it ............ its an application so I need to work with it

    how can I do this ................ evidentally I cant seem to be able to do this??

    To edit a .pdf file, you need the full verison of Acrobat . . the Acrobat Reader, will only allow you to view a .pdf file

    There are other programs that will allow you to change a .pdf file but they all cost money.
