I have a network in my home - mixed XP Pro and Vista. The vista machine has a printer on it that duplexes, so I like to use it alot. My other machine is XP Pro, and every day I have to reestablish the network connection - Network Places, double click on the Users folder for that computer and enter the user name and password for windows on that computer.

It's a pain. I always check the box to remember the password, but it never does.

How do I make this permanent? I must be deleting cookies or something. Can't I make an exception?

    Thanks

Try creating on the Vista the same user account and password that you use on the XP. You need not use the account on the Vista, just have it there.
