What is a good way to learn about how to manage permissions and users in Win XP Pro? It's driving me crazy. At first it seems easy enough, but when I think I've go it set so no other users on the same machine can see my files I switch users to check but they are still visible! DOH! Encrypted files, zipped and password protected folders, hidden files, shared with permissions not shared.... I don't want to use the simple file sharing, I need to learn this administration stuff; but when I turn it (simple file sharing) off, the only client 98 machine with a user account can no longer log on, you get a box asking for password and the regular network password does not work. What's the work around for that? I need suggestions for a good illustrated guide either online or book. Any helpful pointers appreciated.

    :D
