Hi, im trying to install a driver for a new gaming mouse I bought yesterday and everytime i try and install it it shows me an error message telling me that i dont have the appropriate permissions to copy files to this folder.

    The exact message is:

The installshield engine (ikernel.exe) could not be installed

    IKernel.exe could not be copied to 'C:\program files (x86)\common files\engine\6\intel 32'
Make sure you have the appropriate privilages to copy files to this folder. (0x20)

Try to manually access the common files folder and to a test by creating a folder there. If you get the same message then your permissions for that directory are messed up. If you can In fact create folders there, then try running your installer "As Administrator"
