Reformat and reinstall Windows programs and data would do it which may be necessary anyway as you clearly have no valid protection from Spyware, and it is todays worst problem.

    lunarlander,

You've been here long enough and should know better than to refer people off-site and for self-help malware removal assistance. In the future, either report them for handling by our team of authorized helpers or refrain from posting.

Some members prefer to fight their own battles with malware, but on this forum we do not advise that, as it can get pretty complicated and cause additional problems. I'm surprised that lunarlander has not yet realized this.

One sure way to fix malware, or potential malware, problems is to format your partition and install, "Recover" or reimage Windows, as Rich-M suggests.

If you prefer to get help w/o a re-install ...

Read Everyone MUST read this BEFORE posting for help in this forum, post the requested information here, and then click on Report at the bottom of your post and request this thread be moved to the Virus & Other Malware Removal forum.

Bump your thread there once a day--no more often--until you get a reply. They're kinda busy over there.

Guess I was a little slow again. :) You needn't Report now, as Cookiegal already moved your thread.
