Mike...

Is it possible you can raise the 1000 character limit just a tad? (even if just to 1500 or 2000 will do) It is often difficult to keep it under that limit and instead of writing multiple messages, it seems the tendancy is to sever words and abbreviate them beyond recognition, resulting in broken messages that are difficult to understand. Thanks for your consideration! :)

Wow! You guys must type much longer PMs that I do! But, I just grew it to a max of 2000 for ya.

Good thing everyone doesn't use PM as much as some of you guys do. :)

2,000 bytes x 150 messages x 30,000 users = 9,000,000,000 bytes = 9,000MB = 9GB!

Yes, more characters would be good. it would save doing the messages in part one and part two to follow

Well Mike,

I just deleted all 43 messages from my inbox and Sent box, so that should free up some room for ya!

I know it is minimal, but if everyone can do some houskeeping, it will be less hassle for you.

Hey Techguy, :)

I dunno who said "A picture is worth 1000 words",
but I think it's safe to say it wasn't a woman... :D

Nah, no hassle for me. For right now, I have enough hard drive space. As we continue to expand, someday I might need to cut some of you back... but I don't see that happening any time soon. :)

Well thank you for listening. :) It was getting to the point where it seemed like too much of a hassle to write part 1, then part 2, part 3... ect (part 5), so the tendency was to send illegible pms, but it saved on space. :) I will have to do some housekeeping too. :D Thanks again Mike!

deuce_mn,

OK I see what you said in the PM now.:D

I see ya talking about us too having to make all the emails.

I have not really used the PM much TechGuy but the added space helps out.

Thanks

Will delete the pass now.

It also helps to delete the text you received before sending a reply. That is the only way I have ever reached the max.

I have always tried to keep my stuff deleted from the inbox and sent items but after the upgrade I got about 30 of them back. They are gone again. I hope.

Wow Doyce, you must be a man of few words. :D I'm not exactly concise or to the point all the time, but I always delete the text I received and even with out it I still would reach the old 1000 limit 3 out of 5 times. I haven't come close though with the 2000 one. Usually when I went over with the old limit it was only by a hundred or so characters. Thanks again Mike! :)

Naw, just lazy. If you notice my posts, most are copy/paste or links. Saves a lot of typing. I can type pretty quick and I tend to lose my train of thought when it goes on for awhile. Results of a mis-spent youth.
