The keyboard has gone on my x50 as well. Any idea where i can get a replacement? I live in the UK, but prepared to get it imported if that's what it takes. Many thanks

the only place to get a replacement is through PC World - you have to call their service call centre (phone your local store to get this).
philips will not sell a replacement laptop direct to you (or at least they wouldn't to me)
it will cost £120 for them to collect your laptop and look at it - then the cost of the replacement keyboard, and sending the unit back to you
if it is still covered under the warrenty, i'd get it repaired under that
i ended up buying a new laptop
