I've just purchased a portable photo printer from Olympus (p-200). My camera uses xD cards and the printer (although advertised along with the camera that I purchased a year earlier) has ports for CompactFlash cards... and another that eludes me presently.
I persevered and got a CF card adapter that accepts xD cards... and straight out of the camera, it works great. Trouble now, is that any photos I've stored onto my pc, upon writing them back unto an xD card, the printer doesn't acknowledge the information at all! But for me to take this same card to any photo kiosk... I'm able to print off of the info, no trouble.
    Am I S.O.L.?
Can I get around this and/or is there something I'm doing wrong?
For another $80 I can get a parallel cable that connects the printer directly to the computer. Is this my only option?
Hopefully someone can help... and this IS my first question ever asked here.
    Thanks.

When you copied them back to your card, did you keep the same directory structure?
When you take a picture the file is stored in a folder which is in another folder. Try copying the files back to that same folder.
