Photos Won't Open

    I DOWNLOADED PHOTOS TO MY PICS BUT WHEN I CLICK ON THEM TO OPEN THEM IT TELLS ME IT CAN'T FIND AN IMAGE IMPORTER. I TRIED TO USE PAINT, PHOTOSHOP, AND WINDOWS PIC & FAX VIEWER TO OPEN BUT HAVE HAD NO LUCK. CAN SOMEONE PLEASE HELP, I DON'T WANT TO LOSE THE 2000 OR SO PICS I HAVE. THANK YOU TO ANY AND ALL WHO CAN HELP:)

    What type of file are they?

    Do your other image file open OK?

    i had that happen to me once before the pictures i was downloading was from a friend who was using a Mac and the format was diffrent.so i had to download a software which open the picture's

    have you tried actually opening it from photoshop? (file >>open)
    mabye that will work
    also, in photoshop go to the options menu, and there go to file associations (click on the file type u'll be using)
