I tried freeing up space on my C:\ where PS is installed but it won't work... 5.12 gigs should be enough for a scratch disk right? If there is a way to change the scratch disk that'd be great because we have a 70gig HD but I don't know how to redirect Photoshop to the D:\ any help is appreciated, thanks.

Edit > Preferences > Plug-Ins and Scratch Disks. Select D as your first scratch disk.
