I am creating a basic create an online catalog for products. Allow some sales people to login and prospective clients to login and view.

I am using a basic php script to allow users to login using a basic form. - I picked this up @ zubrag.com.

I really would like to record users login date/time and also the pages they viewed would also be great.

Then I would like to print a report up for all of the people that accessed the site. This site is going to start out small, so even just sending an email when they log in would be sufficient.

Maybe I need more advanced scripts and utilize my database, but just taking it one step at a time.

I also might want to build the items into a database - any pointers there would be great.

Thanks in advance.

Based on what you're trying to do you may want to think about using a framework as opposed to scripts here and there to do what you want.

Myself I tend to use Radicore.

Works fairly well and is pretty straight forward in how to use it.
