    I already know how to make a report pick a specific printer from within DESIGN mode.

    And if you set your reports to open in Print Preview mode within the program(mdb) users can select the printer they require from the standard print dialogue box when they print the previewed report

    But the problem is when I then turned that same .mdb into a .mde that Print Preview mode method stops working. Is there another method for a .mde? Thanks -Ken.

    have some code (found in MSAccess the Help

    Function SelePrn()
    Dim prtDefault As Printer
    ' the number between the ( ) is the printer.
    Set Application.Printer = Application.Printers(1)

    Set prtDefault = Application.Printer

    With prtDefault
    MsgBox "Device name: " & .DeviceName & vbCr _
    & "Driver name: " & .DriverName & vbCr _
    & "Port: " & .Port
    End With

    End Function

    Function ShowPrinters()
    Dim prtLoop As Printer

    For Each prtLoop In Application.Printers
    With prtLoop
    MsgBox "Device name: " & .DeviceName & vbCr _
    & "Driver name: " & .DriverName & vbCr _
    & "Port: " & .Port
    End With
    Next prtLoop
    End Function

    Create a module and past it and see the results, you will have to put some code to offer the user a choice.
