    Hiya

The Picture It! Library and Digital Image Library do not display temporary files. By ignoring temporary files, the Library can remain clean and uncluttered. An issue has been identified where some software marks photos as temporary files when they are acquired from the camera. This patch enables the Library to view these temporary files.

The software currently known to mark new files as temporary is Canon Utilities ZoomBrowser version 4.1.0.46.

    System Requirements
Supported Operating Systems: Windows 2000, Windows 98, Windows ME, Windows XP

Multimedia PC with Pentium 500 MHz or higher processor
    128 MB of RAM

    Hiya norrby

    Have you tried a repair:

Control Panel | AddRemove. Doubleclick Microsoft Internet Explorer. Choose Repair, apply and restart.

    What was the error?

Also, have you just tried clicking the original link that I posted above, as this isn't the main Windows Update page, just a download page.

    Regards

    Hi Eddie
I have tried the repair and this is the
    instruction I get

    This program uninstalls Q813489
    and restores to previous configuration.

    Used occasionally
    Last used 20/5/2003

I am baffled by this Q813489
is it a patch I downloaded?
and if I need to uninstall it ....
then why was it last used 20/5/03.

I have decided to leave as is for now

    Thanks in advance

    N

That patch is the cumulative patch for IE, and I've seen a few others that have had the same coming up when they try and repair.

If the above link works fine, thats good. You may want to post a seperate thread in Web and Email, for the Update site problem. :)
