When I am running Norton Utilities- one button checkup, I came up with 1 error found in "program integrity scan"(finds missing application file] When I run fix it, it tells me to run Norton Win Doctor. When I run Win Doctor, it tells me I have a missing file.
When I ask to repair it, it can't. When I hit the advanced button it says "Missing File" C:\Program Files\MICROSOFT PICTURE IT! Photo Pub\MHPNRG.EXE, then under that it says C:\Program Files\Microsoft Picture It! Photo Pub\MHPMRG.EXE cannot access a necessary file " mhputilu.dll
When I tried to uninstall and reinstalln Picture It Publishing a message comes up saying "Interna Error. uninstall "shoebox.dll
If I try to run Picture It Publishing and choose Flyers and Brochures a message comes up saying PIP has caused an errorin MSJET40.DLL and pip will now cloes.
Then the computer locks up . I need help

Thanks

When I try in unistall and reinstall Picture It. Pubulishing a message comes up saying "Internal ERROR 2735 UNISTALL Shoebox.DLL" Thjen the whole unistall-reistall stops.

Hiya

For the shoebox, did you have a look at the article? It mentions:

Internal Error 2735: shoebox.dll

but not the Install bit. However, it does say:

Uninstall the Program
NOTE: If the product is not uninstalled after you perform these steps, continue to the "Delete Folders" section.
So, you may be able to do it.

as to the other error MSJET40.dll is from your Office package. This may go if you can succesfully carry out the steps for the shoebox problem.

Have a look at the shoebox, and if no go, let us know.

Regards

I deleted Shoebox.DLL, uninstalled Picture It. Publishing and it works fine now. BUT when I close the program out, message comes up saying "PIP has caused an error in KERNEL32.DLL PIP will now close." When I click on "Close" to close the window, it stays there. It will not delete. Control, Alt. Delete does not come up on the screen. The message will not go away. I open other programs and the message stays in front. When I try to shut down the computer it will not shut down. Help Eddie!

Okay

At least we're halfway there :p

Go here and download AddAware wwww.lavasoftusa.com
Install and run, ensuring that Deep Registry Scan is enabled. Remove all except any references to Web3000 or new.net. If you're unsure, copy/paste the list here.

I downloaded the program you suggested. I ran the program and and had it in deep registry scan. The results were 4 suspicious files.
Doubleclick:C:windows\cookies\[email protected](1).txt
Doubleclick:C:windows\cookies\[email protected](3).txt
Otherfile:C:windows\cookies\[email protected](1).txt
Otherfile:C:windows\cookies\[email protected](3).txt

These are the files. I hope you can make heads or tales from this.
Thanking for the help so far

It was not exactly the message that I got on the screen.
It said " invalid page fault in module Kernel32.dll
It said to check my drivers on my printer and scanner for any updates. My question is that worked before, how come they aren't proper now?
Still confused.
Ron
P.S. Do you any other suggestions Eddie?

Okay

I have done a search on the newsgroups and they all say the same thing:

you have Norton Anti-virus 2001 installed, you may need to disable
the NAV scripting scanner in NAV options
Is that the version that you have, and if so, have you tried it?

Eddie:
I have Norton System Works 2001.
I feel like that twig in the stream.
How do I turn off NAV SCRIPTING SCANNER?
Please be patient.
I hope the stream doesn't get any stronger.

Eddie:
I went into Norton options, and chose antivirus, highlighted script blocking and disabled it
I restarted my computer, went into Picyture It! Publishing, did some work in it, went out of it AND NO ERROR MESSAGE!!!!!!!
Thank you SO much.
One question, what will this do to my antivirus program?
If you would, send me an e-mail at [email protected]
I feel like a log in the creek now

Thanks

Ron
