I need to reconvert my pictures from the Windows icon to the Jpeg. Some how they made the change without my doing. Have tried several suggestions, but hoped you folks could walk me trhu a simple procedure

you need to change the file association with jpg's to whatever application you want them to open in. The default is internet explorer. I can't tell you exactly how to do this as u haven't identified your OS, but normally somewhere in the folder selection: view, tools, folder options, file types, scroll down to jpg and 'change' the application to your preferred one.

Hold the shift key down and right click on one of the images...
select open with...scroll to the program you want to use ...put a check in the box always use this program and ok out

With Xp you don't need to hold the shift key...just right click
