Ok ive used panda online scan and it found 5 files infected cleaned 3 and some how when i rescan im clean..
My problem is this.. My hub activity's light is going nutz and my lag for online games is unabreable.. I flipped on Zone Alarm only to be aware that 100's of ips are try to hit my computer.. So i am assuming i got some sort of backdoor virus trasnmitting data from system to system..

What virus programs or online scans can i use to help get rid of this?

Os win 2k server
dual board
gig ram
radeon 9700

Alot of people would recommend using AVG Anti-Virus. I use this A-V program myself, and find it to be very effective. Grisoft, Inc. has a free version of AVG available for download. Just click the following link, download and install the software. Then make sure you update it for new definitions, and then run a complete scan. If there is anything there, AVG should pick it up.

AVG Free Version

have you run spybot and adaware yet? if not, and if you don't have the programs, go to pcworld.com and download them, get the latest updates and run both. with spybot delete all the RED items, with adaware delete all that it finds. sounds like spy/ad ware not virus.

by the way michael_jii - zone alarm is a firewall and one of the best.
