it says it can't open the search page.
My friend is getting a valid IP address, can access the router management page by typing in it's IP address, can ping from a command prompt by URL and by IP address and gets replies.
no proxy set, he's got dsl and a router doing NAT that is giving him two DNS server IP's an valid IP address and he can ping the gateway and beyond. Everything looks ready to go but he can't connect to any websites.
Could this be the time to reset IP?
