One of the options in OE is to play a sound when a message is received. How can you change WHAT sound it plays?

Start>Settings>Control Panel, Sounds and scroll until you find New Mail Notification.

Hi,

Go to Control Panel/Sounds, scroll down to event 'New Mail Notification' and choose a sound.

Good luck, Tony

try
control panel
sounds
new mail notification

play around with the listed .wav files till you find one you like

click 'browse' and you'll find the directory where they're stored - you can add .wav files there and they'll be available to associate with different activities

you can also load themes or browse to themes if you have them installed and use .wav files from that directory

JG, Angel, and Tony: Boy do I feel stupid. I looked for that in "Sounds", but didn't see it. On looking again, it's of course there. Old age is hell!

Thanks
