Sometimes when I try to go into a program I'll get an error message saying 'not a valid Win32 application'.This happens with all sorts of programs, from downloaded emulators to the programs that came with the computer, including MS Paint.
Some times I can open the program I want by going into it from another location, but sometimes not
Please help xxx

If you are running WIndows XP try a System Restore, which is available from Windows Help. The problem could be a virus. Do you run and update a virus scanner often?

Welcome to Tech Support Guy

It sounds like the file extentions have been changed. Have you ran your anti-virus program lately? Start with that, if you need one there are some free ones on the net.

Go to online scanners at the link below.
