I reset my modem to try and get a faster connection on my console, now I cannot connect any device to the wifi. WPS light is off and modem does not have a wps button. Please help.

Look in your manual, it should give you the ip address to connect to its menu system. You'd have to connect with a ethernet cable.

A simple reset (nearly the same as a power cycle) or a reset to factory defaults?

Is the "modem" actually a modem/wireless router combo?

Is the device owned by you or by your ISP?

What brand and exact model is the device?

Hey friends, thank you very much for trying to help me. My data had run out so couldn't reply, in the end a family friend came over to fix the problem. FYI he did exactly what you guys suggested and sorted it out. Am not really knowledgeable in this field it was a small problem fixed easily by the earlier suggestion. Thank you and sorry to waste your time.

Our time isn't wasted. Someone with the same problem might read this thread and be able to find the solution.

I hope you wrote down what the family friend did to fix the issue so if it happens again, you'll be able to fix it.
