I have a Toshiba Satellite P875-S7200 Laptop that wont boot up. When I try it, it first goes to startup repair and says windows can't fix this computer automatically. Then if i chose to go to advanced options and try to do a system restore ect, it will let me choose one, but when it says it is done, it goes right back to this again. I have tried to press f8 when turning on power and it will not go into safe mode. I click on command prompt then and have tried sfc/scannow and it says there is a system repair pending which requires a reboot to complete. Restart windows and run sfc again and defalts back to x:\sources\recovery\Tools> I am trying to help a friend that is in need, so any help would be appreciated very much.

    First Name:
Toshiba Satellite P875-S7200 Laptop (support site)
It originally came with Windows 7 Home Premium SP1 64-bit.

From my past experience, if a Windows 7 "repair" doesn't work, the only other option is to reinstall Windows 7 and get a fresh start.

We have no idea how your friend uses and maintains that laptop, so resolving the issue from here is going to be difficult or impossible.
