looks normal while loading but when it's complete they all look pixelated and stuff. i just got a new dell laptop (windows xp professional) for college and i wonder if the screen resolution setting and such have anything to do with it? and i want to know how to fix it... it's currently set at: 1400x1050 pixels, 32-bit color, and large size for the DPI setting (125%)

help would be appreciated greatly, it's just the images on my internet not my computer.. so could it be my internet setting? don't know please help

are they large images being shrunk. like does the image while loadin be big but then shrink down smaller, or is it smaller images or just images become pixelated?

the pictures are same size, only pixelated. i have the image-resize thing turned off. everything on the internet that's an image (jpg, gif, etc.) is like that... even the tech support guy sign and the smilies

Sounds like a compression utility that some ISPs offer as an "internet accellerator".
All they do is compress the images right down so they load faster. Talk to your ISP, there will be a setting to enable or disable it somewhere, but we have no idea how you connect or with whom.
