So a couple of weeks ago, I noticed that when I restarted my comp, I was getting a different homepage than that of my normal Comcast.net
    I was getting this: res://mshp.dll/index.html#10213
I didn't think much of it, and just kept resetting the page every time that came up... Well, I'm sick of it, I was searching through some threads here, and I did some of the stuff suggested, I tweaked and ran Ad-Aware, and got rid of some Gator stuff. I downloaded and ran Spybot S&D, and got rid of even more stuff. I can't for the life of me though, seem to get rid of this damn thing that has hijacked my friggen system...
    Any suggestions?
(also, I am now getting a snazzy little UK2.net thing every second or third time I start my IE...and does anyone know how to properly get new.net off my system, I've had problems with that before as well...)
I just want to get my comp back to good running conditions...

    Here is my Hijack log:

    Hi Dak11

    Welcome to TSG! :)

Click here to download CWShredder. Close all browser windows,UnZip the file, click on the cwshredder.exe then click "Fix" (Not "Scan only") and let it do it's thing.

When it is finished restart your computer.

IMPORTANT!: To help prevent this from happening again, I strongly recommend you install the patches for the vulnerabilities that this hijacker exploits.

The simplest way to make sure you have all the security patches is to go to Windows update and install all "Critical Updates and Service Packs"

Come back here and post another Hijack This log and we'll get rid of what's left.

I usually recommend keeping the backups for a day or two just in case.

    The log is clean! (y)
