my computer won't boot up. everytime i turn it on, the windows XP loading logo comes up then it goes to a black screen and says the following:

PXE-E61: Media Test Failure, Check Cable
    PXE-M0F: Exiting Intel Boot Agent
No Bootable Device- insert book disck and press any key

I dont know what to do so any help would be greatly appreciated.

you can try a few things....
1- see if your computer recognizes your hard drive
2- if not, go into your bios and input your hard drive settings

also, check to see if your ram is set in properly. you can remove it and re-set it
check your cables to make sure none have come loose... same thing, remove and re-set them.

    good luck... hope this helps

Winter:Welcome to TSG:You might find some useful info and tips on this error by using the Search function at the top of the screen and enter
    "pxe-e61" with the quotes.
It appears to be a boot sequence issue and in the posts you will see some suggested fixes.
