    Hello there,

    It's midnight here in London i'm tired and my girlfriend's computer, albeit very old is very unstable (the computer that is ;) ). The Internet Connection is very temperamental works after I reboot it several times. I have removed as much rubbish as I could from it and it also takes a lifetime to boot up. She is nagging me to death and I need some sleep !!;)

    If someone could please give me some advice from the Hijack this log file below I would very much appreciate it.

    Thanking you in advance,
    Paul.

    660 sounds good to me, i'm on an old fuji 330, its ok so long as i keep it fairly clean.

    I'm not very good with Hijack, hopefully someone smart will come along soon.
    I will have a look through that log you posted, is that the latest ver of Hijack ?

    John :)

    The log is clean But...................

    Let's really clean the system

    DownLoad EasyCleaner http://www.majorgeeks.com/download414.html

    Use the clear files and Unnecessary files buttons – I do not recommend
    using the Duplicates files button
    as many dupes are there on purpose.

    Not all files will delete – that is normal.

    In the unnecessary button I check the top 4 entries
    =====================

    Empty the recycle bin

    Boot to safe mode and defrag

    You have it appears to spyware tools

    Get all of these and/or verify you have the current versions

    SpywareBlaster 3.5 http://majorgeeks.com/download2859.html
    SpyBot V1.4 http://www.majorgeeks.com/download2471.html
    AdAware SE 1.06 http://www.majorgeeks.com/download506.html

    DownLoad them (they are free), install them, check each for their
    definition updates
    and then run AdAware and Spybot, fixing anything
    they say.

    In SpywareBlaster - Always enable all protection after updates
    In SpyBot - After an update run immunize
