please help...!

    Morning everyone...i am trying to install Win 2000 onto a Dell computer. I have it running from the d: and it starts and gets half way through the first process before it even asks you about partitions and it stops on me. It has a blue screen with a BIOS message. Then i have to shut down. Can someone please help i have been working on this for a week and i need it for work!! All help is appreciated! Thanks

    Oh, i tried to format the C: and it says that it is not supported. SO i am stumped...please help...

    The format c command is a dos command and it isn't supported by nt systems. What can you tell us about the blue screen. As well if you have any expansion cards like sound or video and multiple ram sticks then remove the sound, video and leave only one stick of ram and try it.
