please help

    Ive been working for 4 days to get spyware and trojans off a pc. Have been working with someone on here but they have gone now and we cant seem to get rid of a BHO file

    First place this in a permanent folder --- C:\HJT\HijackThis.exe or you will end up with backup files on your destop

    Go to windows updates and get all critical updates except SP2

    download Spybot Search and Destroy and Ad-Aware SE UPDATE both and do a scan getting rid of all they find

    Do a scan with Housecall and Panda

    After doing ALL the above post another log here please

    OK I was wondering about where hijack was. I have done spybot and adaware lots. Also have run panda trend and one I think was called RAV. Ive also done all the updates.

    Please follow the directions in post #4 XP SP1 is not showing in your log and you should do ALL th e suggested scans and download of updates before posting th enext log here

    while running adaware I got a virus alert from AVG saying that trojan horse downloader.agent 7.v what is that?

    What happend to all of the other processes you had in the first HijackThis log?
