I was using my computer, not doing anything out of the ordinary, when it froze and turned off. When I turned it back on, a black screen came up that said that "No operating system was found." I turned it on and off a few times but nothing changed. Then I waited about a half hour and tried again. This time it turned on and seemed to be working fine. At first my internet wasn't working, but after I reset my router, that fixed itself too. I noticed that the computer was being very slow, in internet and regular functions. Then it froze again and turned off again. Just as the first time, an immediate restart did nothing but after I waited, it turned on.

I installed a slave drive a few months ago to backup files that has no operating system. I noticed on the very first boot screen, it said "0 : primary hard drive name, 1 : secondary drive name."

Could it be that the system is just booting from the wrong drive for whatever reason, or could this problem be even worse? In either case, how do I fix it and make sure it doesn't happen again? Could this be a virus or a hardware problem or something else entirely?

Just in case, I ran hjackthis and here is the file. Hope it helps. Please let me know what I can do to fix my computer.

Sounds like you might have a failing/overheating hard drive. I would suggest downloading the diagnostic tool made by the manufacturer (Ex: Seagate, Maxtor) and running the diagnostic with the disc that it makes. Do an Advanced/Full test and see what you get. Also test both drives.
