Hi Guys, well were do i start?
I have my pc running fine now for a few years when the other day it took ages to shutdown, but all seemed fine. Then when i switched it on the next day it would not boot up to windows. I got a blue screen saying it was a registry error with a STOP:C0000218 code. i googled the fix for this but it didnt work. I neede to get acess to my C drive where my operating system was as i needed to get pictures of my 3 year old daughter off before i could do a clean install. I decided to install another copy ov XP alongside the original one to see if i could somehow get across to the drive i needed. It installed correctly but i was unable to acess what i needed. I then thought to remove my hard drive and put it in another pc and see if i could acess the pics from there but i cant seem to locate the "My Pictures Folder". Has the 2nd copy of XP overwritten this? and have i lost my pics forever?
Any help soom would be appreciated.
