Please! I need help! Right click - Properties - Windows explorer has has stopped work

Hi everyone, this is quite urgent and I need your help
so, when I right click an object, and when i choose properties (be it folders, shortcuts, etc), suddenly there's a notification saying, "windows explorer has stopped working", and the cursor is very laggy as hell!
Guys? I need your help :( I'm having this problem for over 1 week :'(
oh yeah, Im using Windows 7 64 bit....

does the error massage appears when the explorer is closed or in use?

Is that a recent install of Windows 7 64-bit?

Have you upgraded Windows 7 64-bit to Service Pack 1?

What's the brand name and model name and model number of your computer?
