Please i need help with windows ME

    I have lost files from my windows system....graphics really bad ....i dont know which files or what to do next ...cant get restore to work from a date which will do any good and i have lost disc....sorry typical blonde !!!!!!!!!! HELP PLEASE

    We are going to have to know what error messages you are getting and which O/S you are using ( ME / 98se ? )

    Hi when you say your graphics are really bad could you be a little more specific, for example are the colors still visible? Also what else is your system not doing now that it was before?

    Sorry - I see you are using WinME - I should have read the post properly.

    Can you give us a bit of background info to the problem:

    1. had you added / deleted anything prior to the problem?

    2.Is it just graphics that you are having problems with?

    3.Are there any error messages or is it just that the screen does not look normal?

    Just a hunch - Click on My Computer - Contol Panel - Display - Settings
    if it shows 16colours in the box change it to "High Colour" or "True Colour"
    Click "Apply" then "OK".
