    GREETINGS!

On Tuesday, Nov 01, 2011, My stress culminated to a massive
    nervous breakdown.

I am home now, but I spent three days in psychological intensive care,
and half a day in the ER. I was in the ER, because on the second day,
I went into uncontrollable AFib with RVR. After the nurses in the
mental hospital ran an EKG, they called an ambulance. I had to be
knocked out and shocked (defibrillated). I was also given drugs,
and a prescription. The AFib is under control, but my pulse still
is at about 110. The doc says I'm doing well, but I'll be on Cartia
for a few weeks, and tranquilizers for a long time. Mainly:
Depakote, Klonopin, and Risperdal. And I must watch my diet,
when it comes to alcohol and caffeine, especially.

I have not yet made a full recovery from this one, but I know I will.
    in a few weeks.

Many of my 'friends' have Not been supportive, but some have. I am
grateful for those few that are true.

There are rumors floating around that I had a heart attack. I did not.
I had a nervous breakdown, and it affected my heart. While it wasn't
life-threatening, it scared the hell out of me. It was a wake-up call.

I need to learn to take better care of myself.

Let this thread metastasize. I don't care. Not after what happened
with LIsa's story (which I helped along into oblivion).

Right now, I need support from fellow members, more than anything else.

This curmudgeon can do the thoughts, but not the prayers - wishing you the best and rapid recovery. (y)

Not listening to the docs has gotten me into more trouble than I can shake a stick at.
