I had a trojan earlier this week. I used Tds-3 to get rid of it. One file came up as "Suspicious filename - HTA file in suspicious location - c:\windows\system\wbwqm.hta". What if anything should I do with this file?

Also, what should I remove from my HJT log? Thanks

How does one kill running processes in Windows 98? The task manager lists only visible processes, not all running processes.

Or maybe I got rid of it by deleting it in regedit.
I still would like to know how to kill running processes in Windows 98.
    Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks.

Start button, run, msconfig, startup tab.

    Uncheck whatever isn't necessary.

    Winamp
    Winzip
    Adobe

    can safely be unchecked.
