My computer has been real slow lately, and I can't figure out what the problem is. When I log on, my homepage won't even load, so I have to restart the computer and log on to a different user. Then I can switch users and go to my main user.

I'm getting a few errors that I saw in my error log. I've done searches on the errors to try and fix whatever the problem is, but I can't figure it out. Here are the errors:

DCOM - Access denied attempting to launch a DCOM Server using DefaultLaunchPermssion. The server is: {00020906-0000-0000-C000- 000000000046} The user is Unavailable/Unavailable, SID=Unavailable.

Service Control Manager - The Application Management service terminated with the following error: The system cannot find the file specified.

Service Control Manager - The following boot-start or system-start driver(s) failed to load: cdudf_xp

Here's my HJT. Thanks.

For some reason I think you and I are being ignored tonight. My request isn't getting any feedback either & I put it through twice.

well i'm no expert but at least i'll bump your thread by replying :) - when i googled around on this line in your log -

C:\Program Files\MSN Apps\Updater\01.02.0002.1001\en-us\msnappau.exe

- i found a thread at SpywareInfo forums where "msnappau.exe" seemed to be causing problems and was eventually removed from the posters' comp, as on this link below -

http://forums.spywareinfo.com/index.php?showtopic=18969&st=0&#entry77928

also i didn't find any information stating that it was a necessary system/application file, leading me to think that it may be worth getting rid of - however hopefully you'll get one of the real experts reviewing your log soon so i'd probably advise you wait for the lowdown before fixing anything yet (y)
