Hi, Usually you can uninstall Bitgrabber in Add/Remove programs, have you done that yet?

What it can install is called the Lop infection, it's fixable....

Post a brand new HJT after trying the uninstaller as above, this infection changes filenames so try not
    to reboot the computer....

Hi, Check for any of these items in Add/Remove Programs also and uninstall

"Zone Media" or "CiD Help" or "CiD
    Manager"

After you do that, I will post some other steps for you to do, but I NEED a new HJT , this infection changes filenames often....

    Hi,
To enable the viewing of Hidden files follow these steps:

Close all programs so that you are at your desktop.
Double-click on the My Computer icon.
Select the Tools menu and click Folder Options.
After the new window appears select the View tab.
Put a checkmark in the checkbox labeled Display the contents of system folders.
Under the Hidden files and folders section select the radio button labeled Show hidden files and folders.
Remove the checkmark from the checkbox labeled Hide file extensions for known file types.
Remove the checkmark from the checkbox labeled Hide protected operating system files.
Press the Apply button and then the OK button and shutdown My Computer.
Now your computer is configured to show all hidden files.

You will need that in further steps.

    • Close any programs you have running since a reboot is required
    • Double click NoLop.exe to run it
    • Next, click the button labeled: Search and Destroy
<<your computer will now be scanned for infected files>>
    • When the scan finishes, if infected, you are prompted to reboot
    • Click OK
    • Now click: REBOOT
    • A Message should popup from NoLop. If not, double click the program again and it will finish.
    • Please Post the contents of C:\NoLop.log along with a new HijackThis log

    Hi, Well done!

Add/Remove Programs, see if PowerReg Scheduler v3 is there, uninstall it.

You may uninstall also, the Logitech DesktopManager and/or Messenger, it is common to have and not a virus or anything, but it
is a nuiscance and not needed.

Start Hijackthis again, put checks next to all these you find in your scan window, now CLOSE ALL other windows including this one... when you have them all checked click "Fix Checked" *(these may not exist when you look, but check for it!)

    O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [bib loud dumb admin] C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Mfcd New Bib Loud\peak cdrom.exe

    O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [uploadford] C:\DOCUME~1\ADMINI~1\APPLIC~1\PHONEF~1\Face2.exe

    O4 - Startup: PowerReg Scheduler V3.exe

    Next:

You need to navigate to the folders shown below and delete them

C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\Application Data\Phone Flag <<the folder named Phone Flag

    C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Mfcd New Bib Loud <<this folder
    C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\Application Data\Bitgrabber <<This must be a leftover??

See if you can find : PowerReg Scheduler V3.exe

Use Search tool to see if it is there....delete it.

Empty the Recycle Bin. Reboot the computer normally.

Post a new Hijackthis log please.

Also, go to the page you want for your Home Page, and make it so again at top of any IE windows, Tools>Internet Options> Use current.

Hi, You're very welcome, stop by anytime. After a day or so, and you are fairly sure that nothing comes back, you can mark your own thread Solved if you want, by using the Thread Tools button at the top of the page..
You should also do the System Restore cleanup steps: they are needed since if you have to use Restore Point, it will put back some or most of the malware you worked hard to fix....Restore is not picky about what it backs up.

You can do these steps at any time you wish now.

    Turn off System Restore:

On the Desktop, right-click My Computer.
    Click Properties.
    Click the System Restore tab.
    Check Turn off System Restore.
Click Apply, and then click OK.Wait for hourglass to stop and it says
    "Turned Off"

Restart your computer, turn System Restore back on and create a restore point.

    To create a restore point:

Single-click Start and point to All Programs.
Mouse over Accessories, then System Tools, and select System Restore.
In the System Restore wizard, select the box next the text labeled "Create a restore point" and click the Next button.
Type a description for your new restore point. Something like "After trojan/spyware cleanup". Click Create and you're done.
